Admission Procedure

Educational Qualification: In order to secure admission to first year of four degree courses in Engineering / Technology, the candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
 
Passed the HSSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with
 
         i) English as one of the subjects
         ii) All the subjects mentioned under Group-I and
       
 
      Group-I: (All subjects from this group are compulsory)
                     1) Physics

                     2) Chemistry

                     3) Mathematics                                             
 
         
   AND
 
Secured minimum 50% means 150 out of 300 marks (45% means 135 out of 300 marks for backward class candidates from Maharashtra) in Physics, Chemistry And Mathematics.

 

DIRECT ADMISSION TO SECOND YEAR

The candidate should have passed in first class with  English  medium,  diploma  course  in  Engineering / Technology of the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) or autonomous institution to which autonomy has been granted by the State  of  Maharashtra  or diploma  recognized  as  equivalent to  the diploma awarded by MSBTE for seeking direct admission to second year B.E. (3 rd semester) in corresponding degree courses as approved By the MSBTE.

Action against ragging: Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act 1999, which is in effect from 15th May 1999, has the following provisions for Action against Ragging.

Ragging within or outside of any educational institution is prohibited. Whosoever directly or indirectly commits, participates in, abets. Or propagates ragging within or outside any educational   institution shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term up to 2 years and/or penalty which may extend to ten thousand rupees.

Any student convicted of an offence of ragging shall be dismissed from the educational institution and such student shall not be admitted in any other educational institution for a period of five years from the date of order of such dismissal.
