Admission Procedure
|
Educational Qualification: In order to secure admission to first year of four degree courses in Engineering / Technology, the candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria. Passed the HSSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with i) English as one of the subjects ii) All the subjects mentioned under Group-I and iii) Any one of the subjects from Group-II Group-I: (All subjects from this group are compulsory) 1) Physics 2) Mathematics Group-II: (any one of the subjects from this group) 1) Chemistry 2) Biology 3) Bio-Technology 4) Computer Science AND Secured minimum 50% marks (45% for backward class candidates from Maharashtra) in Physics, Mathematics and the subject of maximum marks amongst the four subjects of group-II, added together.

DIRECT ADMISSION TO SECOND YEAR
|
|
The candidate should have passed in first class with English medium, diploma course in Engineering / Technology of the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) or autonomous institution to which autonomy has been granted by the State of Maharashtra or diploma recognized as equivalent to the diploma awarded by MSBTE for seeking direct admission to second year B.E. (3 rd semester) in corresponding degree courses as approved By the MSBTE.

Action against ragging: Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act 1999, which is in effect from 15th May 1999, has the following provisions for Action against Ragging.
Ragging within or outside of any educational institution is prohibited. Whosoever directly or indirectly commits, participates in, abets. Or propagates ragging within or outside any educational institution shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term up to 2 years and/or penalty which may extend to ten thousand rupees.
Any student convicted of an offence of ragging shall be dismissed from the educational institution and such student shall not be admitted in any other educational institution for a period of five years from the date of order of such dismissal.
